“Strings of Hallelujah” presents a whimsical orchestra of characters gathered around an aged, open music book. Delicate linework and soft watercolor washes depict tiny musicians — a harpist, a cello-like bass, violin and lute — whose instruments send musical notes drifting off the page. The scene conveys a playful dialogue between nature and melody, with each creature adding to the animated score.
